A Little History Behind Maggie Moore
Maggie Moore was born in Ireland over 150 years ago, her husband
passed away suddenly and she was left at an early age with 7 boys
to bring up.
Times were hard so she had to do the best for her family - knitting,
sewing, baking and cooking for her large family. She had lots of
recipes that had been handed down from her mother and grandmother,
so she added to them and made all different breads - Pancakes,
Soda Bread, Wheaten Bread, Potato Griddle Scones, Shepherds pie,
and meat pies - everything made from scratch.
Maggie Moore's concern
was her family and as time went by she decided to open her own
little store so that her boys could achieve their goals in life.
She did very well and to this day all these recipes are still used
by the family.
We want to bring Maggie Moore's recipes straight from her heart to your kitchen. We want Maggie to be part of your family.
